For students who for some reason did not pass their End of Semester exams, the University annually offers re-sit exams.
If you didn’t complete a paper or failed a paper, you must complete it again to make up for it or risk not being able to graduate from the school. Here, I’ll give you the gist of how to sign up for a retake of the University`s exam.

- 40% for Undergraduates
- 50% for Postgraduates

How to Register for KNUST Re-sit exams (Supplementary Exams)Â
- Check the KNUST`s calendar to figure out when the supplementary examination will come off.
- Check the costs you must pay on the appointed day and get ready (each paper often costs 100 to 200 Ghana Cedis or more).
- A re-sit exam form may be downloaded from the school’s website, printed, and fully completed. Note: THE RESIT FORMS ARE not available yet.
- After you’ve completed the form, get your departmental office and academic officer to sign it.
- Make your way to the bank or cashier to pay.
- To complete the registration procedure, you must deliver the form to the college academic office along with the endorsement and payment documentation.
- After registering, look at the resit schedule and wait till the exam day.
