WASSCE Applicants Admissions Requirements At Kumasi Technical University

Applicants must obtain credit passes or better (A1- C6) in three (3) Core Subjects, namely:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Integrated Science or Social Studies

applicants ALSO must also obtain credit passes or better (A1 to C6) in three elective subjects relevant to the program of study.

SSSCE Applicants Admissions Requirement

SSSCE applicants must have at least credit passes or better (A- D) in their Core Subjects, especially:

• English Language
• Mathematics and
• Integrated Science or Social Studies

And credit pass or better in three relevant electives.

ABCE/ ‘O’&’A’ Level Applicants Admissions Requirements

Applicants must have a credit pass or better in five ABCE subjects or five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including:

• English Language and
• Mathematics,

Plus, at least two GCE ‘A’ Level/ABCE passes.

GBCE Applicants Admissions Requirements

Applicants must obtain five GBCE credits, including English, Business Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies.

DBS Applicants Admissions Requirements

Four SSSCE/WASSCE Credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus at least three DBS passes.

Technical School Applicants (Certificate II)

Passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science plus any three (3) relevant trade courses.

Mature Applicants Admissions Requirements

If you are applying for admission at KsTU as a Mature Candidates, you must meet these criteria:

First, you must be at least 25 years at the time of application.

Second, you must have at least two (2) years of working experience

If you are an applicant applying for HND Dispensing Technology/Medical Laboratory Technology/Science and Industrial Laboratory Technology, you should:

• First, have relative hospital/industrial experience.
• Second, you should apply with O Level/WASSCE/SSSCE pure science background (Chemistry and Biology)
• In addition to that, you should have credits in English and Mathematics (core).
