Introduction
The 5th RadioJAZZ “We Want Jazz” Poster Competition is now accepting applications. The competition’s objectives are to popularize jazz via the participation of the global community of graphic designers and to promote Polish and global jazz as genres of music in which everyone can find something they enjoy. A poster with the topic “all the Jazz” is requested from the artists.
Jazz offers numerous hues and perspectives! Dixieland, mainstream, fusion, funk, ethnic, and dance jazz, as well as jazz performed by symphony orchestras, are all examples of jazz. Due to its impromptu nature and propensity for musical discussion amongst the performing artists, it sometimes assumes the quality of consonance and other times is heard as an uncontrollable musical din. The music of synergy, reciprocal listening, and collaborative production is jazz, and we wish to present it as such. Jazz is open music, full of improvisation, but also built on the “call and response” idea.
About RadioJAZZ
The idea of establishing RadioJAZZ.FM was to create a place where one of the greatest genres of music will be presented in all its rich glory. A place where the choice of music will not be determined by charts or marketing research, but will be created by people devoted to jazz, with a passion for sharing music. In our station, there are new products, the most beautiful standards, as well as the most valuable archives of Polish and world jazz.
Benefits of “We Want Jazz” RadioJAZZ International Poster Competition
- 5,000 PLN for the first place,
- 3,000 PLN for second, and
- 2,000 PLN for third place.
- The tax that is owed on the prizes will be deducted from the prizes’ gross value.

- Anyone from any nation can apply.
- A maximum of 3 posters may be submitted by per author.
