Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced the release of the admission forms for the 2023/2024 academic year. Interested and eligible candidates can download the application forms from the KNUST official website, www.knust.edu.gh. The application process will start in June 2023, and the closing date for registration is between 31st July and 31st August 2023.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must have a minimum of credits (A1 – C6 in WASSCE and A – D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science (for Science-related programmes), or Social Studies (for non-Science related programmes), and three relevant elective subjects.
The price of the KNUST admission form for Ghanaian applicants is GH¢220.00 while international applicants pay $150. Applicants are advised to follow the application guide carefully to ensure that they submit their forms correctly.
Applicants can purchase the e-voucher from any of the listed vendors, which include the Cashier’s Office at KNUST, Ghana Post Company Limited, GCB Bank, ADB Bank, GT Bank, ARB Apex Bank, Republic Bank, Consolidated Bank, Zenith Bank, and Prudential Bank.
To apply for the KNUST admission form, candidates are required to visit the KNUST admission portal at www.apps.knust.edu.gh and click on the ‘Apply Button’ or visit https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admission to apply. Candidates should state emphatically whether they wish to apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate programme, and then login with the form on the right-hand side, using the voucher SERIAL and PIN provided to them.
Candidates should select their mode of entry, indicate their entry type, and fill out the application form, attaching their passport picture. The picture should be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format and should not exceed 100KB in size. Applicants are advised to provide correct information before submitting their forms as changes after submission are not allowed.
Inconsistency in name or picture on the registration slip is not acceptable to the university and may lead to the disqualification of affected candidates. After submitting the form, candidates will receive a reference number that will be sent to their phone numbers. They can then track and print the application form they filled.
