Introduction
Former President and 2024 Presidential candidate of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Assin North. He’s happy for their decisive vote against the incompetent government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Assin North Elections.

JM as he’s popularly called speaking after James Gyakye Quayson was declared winner said. “A big thank you, Assin North, for supporting James Gyakye Quayson and rejecting the non-performing NPP in today’s by-election. Your vote for Justice and Development is truly inspiring. Let’s keep working together to build the Ghana we all dream of”. Moreover, the people of Assin North did not only vote for James Gyakye Quayson but their resounding vote is one for justice and development. In a heartfelt message, Mahama commends the residents of Assin North for their discerning judgment. Not forgetting they recognizing the shortcomings of the NPP-led administration.
Vote Of No Confidence In NPP In Assin North Elections
In addition, he emphasizes that their decision to vote against the incumbent government demonstrates a shared understanding of the urgent need for change and progress. Acknowledging the support received, Mahama assures the people of Assin North that their voices have been heard. Also their concerns will be addressed.
Without any doubt, he can boldly say that the New Patriotic Party came to collapse Ghana’s Economy. He’s very happy that Assin North has taken the lead to send a strong message to NPP. They might have won in Kumawu. However, he seized the opportunity to extend his sincere appreciation to the people for their courageous choice.

In conclusion, he strongly believes that constituencies in Ghana will follow the trend of Assin North in 2024.
