The New Patriotic Party has officially congratulated NDC and the newly elected Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency for his overwhelming victory in the just ended by-elections held on Tuesday, 27th June, 2023.

In an official letter released from the party’s headquarters in Accra, the governing New Patriotic Party first of all expressed their profound gratitude to the rank and file of the party who came on board to support them in Assin North.

Despite their loss, the party appreciated all members for their efforts and contributions. A gracious display of sportsmanship. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) extends heartfelt congratulations to their opponent for securing a resounding victory in the parliamentary elections. Leadership of the Party further expressed their congratulations and admiration for the newly elected representative. Highlighting the significance of their victory in representing the voice of the constituents in the region. Even though the party lost the elections, leadership would want to reassure members of the party that they are going back to the drawing board. To correct all their mistakes and very soon they will come back to reclaim the lost seat.
