For international students seeking scholarships to study in the USA, the University of Arizona is currently offering scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2024 academic year. These scholarships are available to freshmen, transfer students, and international students who qualify as per Proposition 309.
Here are the scholarship options available at the University of Arizona:
- Wildcat Tuition Scholarships
The Wildcat Tuition Scholarship, also known as the Global Wildcat Scholarship, offers funding that varies depending on your previously scored GPA. If you have a GPA of 4.0, you could receive up to $22,000, whereas if your GPA is between 3.0 to 3.24, you may be entitled to up to $5,500. This scholarship is available to transfer students, international students, and local US students who wish to start their degrees as soon as possible. The application deadline for this scholarship is May 1, 2023.
- Arizona University Tuition Scholarship Awards
These scholarships are specifically for undergraduate students interested in enrolling in a full-time undergraduate degree program for the 2023-2024 academic year. The scholarship award is worth up to $32,000, but you need to have a GPA above 3.0 in any of the subjects offered by the University of Arizona to apply. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is also May 1, 2023.
- University of Arizona National Scholars Tuition Scholarship
The National Scholars Tuition Scholarship is available specifically for students from Arizona, who will receive a sponsorship of $18,000. Non-Arizona state student applicants are eligible for a $3,000 national scholarship award as per the announcement of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). The application deadline for this scholarship is also May 1, 2023.
